As President, co-founder and owner of First Capital Mortgage of Ann Arbor, Stephen Marrs is committed to educating his clients and offering competitive interest rates. Stephen began his real estate career in 1995, working for the largest privately owned property management company in Ann Arbor. From there he moved into the banking industry and worked for companies including TCF, ABN AMRO and Washtenaw Mortgage Company. His knowledge of real estate, his strong underwriting experience and his MBA in finance from Wayne State University all make Stephen Marrs a very powerful asset to have on your side.

Stephen opened First Capital Mortgage of Ann Arbor in 2001, committed to providing Washtenaw County homeowners with convenient access to numerous national wholesale lenders. His vision is to educate buyers about different products, and to provide sound advice in order to meet their long and short term financial goals. He has built a strong team and developed sound processes so that his borrowers and their real estate agents never have to worry about financing issues. Stephen Marrs delivers on his promises.

Stephen is a Michigan native and currently resides in Ann Arbor with his wife, Michelle and their daughter Maddalyn. When Stephen is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, and playing golf.
